VOLUMES:

United States exports in OCTOBER 2016 compared to October 2015 increased in volumes for

  • Butter (+178.9%)
  • Cream (+826.5%)
  • Cheese (+5.3%)
  • SMP (+14.4%)
  • Whey Powder (+28.1%)

decreased for

  • WMP (-23.9%)
  • Condensed Milk (-3.3%)
  • Bulk and pack. milk (-16.1%)
  • Yogurt and buttermilk (-6.0%)

UNIT PRICES:

The unit prices of United States exports in OCTOBER 2016 compared to October 2015 increased for:

  • Butter (+31.9%)
  • Bulk and pack. milk (+29.5%)
  • Yogurt and buttermilk (+15.8%)
  • Condensed Milk (+7.1%)

decreased for:

  • Cream (-3.3%)
  • Cheese (-4.4%)
  • SMP (-10.5%)
  • WMP (-15.3%)
  • Whey Powder (-22.3%)

The main Importers of Butter in the first 10 months of 2016 (year over year) were:

  • Mexico import, accounting for 39% of market share, increased by 136.6%
  • Canada import, accounting for 35% of market share, increased by 99.7%
  • Saudi Arabia import, accounting for 6% of market share, decreased by 81.2%
  • Korea, South import, accounting for 3% of market share, decreased by 55.4%
  • China import, accounting for 2% of market share, increased by 248.9%

The main Importers of Cream in the first 10 months of 2016 (year over year) were:

  • Mexico import, accounting for 41% of market share, increased by 334.1%
  • Canada import, accounting for 40% of market share, increased by 31.4%
  • Vietnam import, accounting for 7% of market share, increased by 60.9%
  • Bahamas import, accounting for 3% of market share, increased by 240.5%
  • Bermuda import, accounting for 2% of market share, increased by 130.1%
