In Argentina milk delieveries are increasing, recording a variation of +8.4% for the period January – August 2020 compared to the same period of the previous year.
Bottled milk, especially UHT milk, continues to be one of the most demanded dairy items during these times of social isolation.
In Brazil, a lower production of Cheese has limited the stocks of this product, and the market is expected to firm soon.
Similar situation for Milk Powders in Argentina and Uruguay, where the limited availability of WMP and SMP on the market is supporting the prices of these products.
Currently, most processing plants are prioritizing the production of UHT milk over dairy powders, therefore SMP and WMP demand are above their current supply.
WMP exports from Argentina continue to be strongly positive, recording an increase of +153.4% in August.
