The monthly report of March 2014 published by the United States Department of Agriculture (World Agricultural Supply and Demand Estimates Report – WASDE) cut Corn and Soybean ending stocks, reflecting strong world Import and the consequent increase of the U.S. Export.
Significant changes also concern a higher Corn Production for China, the second largest Producer after the United States, with 217.73 Mio t (22% of global production) and a lower Soybean Production for Brazil (88.50 Mio t, 31% of global production) and Paraguay (8.10 Mio t, 3%), respectively the second and the fourth world Exporters (Brazil Export share: 42%; Paraguay: 4%), due to hot and dry weather during the flowering and filling stages.
