According to October’s WASDE report, for the third month in a raw, the global production for 2014-15 is projected to reach a record both of Corn (990.63 Mio t) and Soybean (311.20 Mio t).
For the U.S. this is expected to be the highest yield and production on record. In effect, the Corn yield is projected at 174.2 bushels per acre (11.06 tons/hectare) and the Soybean yield is projected at 47.1 bushels per acre (3.20 tons/hectare).
Corn and Soybean production is expected to increase also in the European Union, while it’s lowered for Ukraine, Belarus and Russia reflecting the impact of hot, dry, late summer growing conditions.
