The U.S. Department of Agriculture, in the WASDE report of February 2015, shows for the season 2014-15 the estimates of an increasing global production both for Corn (991.29 Mio t) and Soybean (315.06 Mio t).
US Corn and Soybean production is unchanged from last months.
Prospects for Argentina and Ukraine crop have improved.
Soybean production for Brazil is projected at 94.50 Mio t, -1 Mio t on lower yields reflecting the impact of limited rainfall in eastern growing areas.
US ending stocks are projected lower, with projected use in ethanol production raised 75 million bushels on higher forecast 2015 gasoline consumption by the Energy Information Administration.
For China, Corn imports are projected higher (+25%) and Soy production is also raised (+4.7%).
