China imports in NOVEMBER 2016 compared to November 2015 increased in volumes for

  • Cheese (+48.4%)
  • Infant milk formula (+31.5%)
  • Whey Powder (+28.0%)
  • Liquid milk (+20.0%)
  • Cream (+8.0%)
  • WMP (+9.7%)
  • SMP (+0.1%)

decreased for

  • Butter (-3.9%)

UNIT PRICES:

The unit prices of China imports in NOVEMBER 2016 compared to November 2015 increased for:

  • Butter (+19.5%)
  • Whey Powder (+3.9%)
  • Cheese (+0.8%)
  • Cream (+10.1%)

decreased for:

  • Liquid milk (-7.4%)
  • SMP (-1.0%)
  • Milk and cream (-3.9%)
  • WMP (-4.7%)
  • Infant milk formula (-7.8%)

The main Exporters of Cheese in the first 11 months of 2016 (year over year) were:

  • New Zealand export, accounting for 53% of market share, increased by 41.6%
  • Australia export, accounting for 20% of market share, increased by 33.6%
  • United States export, accounting for 9% of market share, decreased by 22.3%
  • France export, accounting for 4% of market share, increased by 93.5%
  • Denmark export, accounting for 3% of market share, increased by 17.6%

The main Exporters of Liquid milk in the first 11 months of 2016 (year over year) were:

  • Germany export, accounting for 40% of market share, increased by 19.1%
  • New Zealand export, accounting for 16% of market share, increased by 79.6%
  • France export, accounting for 15% of market share, increased by 517.1%
  • Australia export, accounting for 12% of market share, increased by 17.2%
  • Poland export, accounting for 4% of market share, increased by 70.9%
