China +70.2% yogurt import

China has achieved a new record in Yogurt imports: 3,524 tons in October 2017, resulting in an increase by +161% from October 2016 and +70.2% in the period January-October 2017 y-o-y. Germany, the main Yogurt supplier to China with a market share of 65%, increased its exports by +136% in the first 10 months of 2017 y-o-y and +1,348% in comparison with the same period of 2015.
In October 2017 Chinese imports increased in volume y-o-y also for: WMP (+94.8%), SMP (+74.8%), Infant Milk Formula (+48.6%), Liquid milk (+20.5%), Cream (+60.4%), Cheese(+5.5%), Whey(+2.5%), Butter(+1.1%).
Unit import prices grew for all dairy products. Higher increases were recorded for:
