The U.S. Department of Agriculture, in the WASDE report of December 2014, shows for the season 2014-15 the estimates of an increasing global production both for Corn (991.58 Mio t) and Soybean (312.81 Mio t).
The forecasts reflect higher expected Corn crops in China (+1.5 Mio t) and in the E.U. (+0.54 Mio t), and higher expected Soybean crops in Paraguay (+0.3 Mio t), Canada and Ukraine.
Ending stocks of Corn and Soybean in the U.S., the largest Exporter, are estimated to decrease, due to the increased Corn use for sweeteners and the record export pace of Soybean.
Global Corn ending stocks are projected at 192.20 Mio t, reflecting the larger China crop, while global Soybean ending stocks are projected at 89.87 Mio t because higher Soybean stocks in Brazil and Argentina are only partly offset with lower Soybean stocks in the U.S.
