The U.S. Department of Agriculture, in the WASDE report of March 2016, shows for the season 2015-16 the estimates of an unchanged production for Corn (969.64 Mio t) and a slightly decreasing production for Soybean (320.21 Mio t).
Corn production is lowered for South Africa and Philippines, due to the drought reducing yields prospects. Indonesia Corn production is raised 0.3 Mio t with higher expected area reflecting the reduced rice planting.
U.S. Corn production is unchanged, while Soybean production is projected at 106.93 Mio t, down slightly from last month due to a revision to South Carolina production.
Global Corn and Soybean ending stocks are lowered (respectively 206.97 Mio t and 78.87 Mio t), due to lower Corn and Soybean stocks in Brazil and lower Soybean stocks in Brazil.
