Australia imports of cheese in September 2015 compared to September 2014 increased in volumes by +26.6%.

The main supplying countries of Cheese in the first 9 months of 2015 (year over year) were:

  • New Zealand export, accounting for 58% of market share, increased by 16.4%
  • United States export, accounting for 18% of market share, decreased by 21.3%
  • Italy export, accounting for 6% of market share, increased by 32.2%

Australia exports of cheese in September 2015 compared to September 2014 increased in volumes by +11.2%.

The main purchasing countries of Cheese in the first 9 months of 2015 (year over year) were:

  • Japan import, accounting for 56% of market share, increased by 24.1%
  • China import, accounting for 9% of market share, decreased by 19.2%
  • Malaysia import, accounting for 5% of market share, decreased by 7.3%
  • Korea, South import, accounting for 4% of market share, increased by 34.7%
  • United States import, accounting for 4% of market share, increased by 238.7%
