United States exports in January 2016 compared to January 2015increased in volumes for Lactose Pharmaceutical (+27.4%), SMP (+22.8%), Whey Powder (+5.5%), Bulk and pack. milk (+3.4%), Butter (+3.1%) while decreased for Infant milk formula (-3.7%), Cheese (-7.2%).

The main Suppliers of Cheese in January 2016 (year over year) were:

• Italy export, accounting for 16% of market share, increased by 34.2%
• New Zealand export, accounting for 13% of market share, increased by 340.3%
• France export, accounting for 9% of market share, increased by 23%
• Lithuania export, accounting for 9% of market share, increased by 170.8%
• The Netherlands export, accounting for 6% of market share, increased by 14.1%
